The property’s castle boasts stunning Florence views and a rich history dating back centuries. Originally an oratory, it has an ancient tower that still stands from the eleventh century. Carefully restored, the castle and villa blend history with modern flair. Sangiovese reigns on 30 hectares of steep vineyard slopes, joined by Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and the nearly forgotten Colorino grape. Montemasso cherishes tradition and a secret stone chamber holds our finest Ruffino wines, a treasure trove of exceptional libations.
