ORObyRUFFINO, ONE EXHIBITION SIX GOLDEN VISIONS

ORObyRUFFINO One Exhibition Six Golden Visions opens in Milan for the Salone del Mobile. It is a project inspired by the iconic Riserva Ducale Oro wine and the alchemical element of gold, a symbol of transformation and precious renewal.

The initiative will feature 6 unique works, 2 historical locations, 1 week of events to celebrate the connection between design, fine wine-making and Italian craftsmanship according to Ruffino.

The artists and designers Filippo Carandini, Rachel Lee Hovnanian, Chiara Lorenzetti, Ettore Marinelli, Tristano di Robilant and Officine Saffi were invited to connect with their inner visions and bring to life their personal interpretations of the concept of “ORO”.

6 Unique art pieces were created and will be on display for the first time during the Salone del Mobile.

The exhibition, hosted in the Dazio di Levante in Piazza Sempione in Milan will be open to visitors from Tuesday 16 to Sunday 21 April from 11am to 9pm. It will lead visitors through a path that lets new perspectives emerge to establish powerful and intense connections.

The experience will be further enriched in the Dazio di Ponente. The building will display a full Ruffino-themed setup and host a series of events such as talks, debates and custom tastings.

The ORO BAR will be open during all the days of the Salone. There, visitors will be able to taste Ruffino wines along with à la carte food pairings and sip the signature Oro cocktail, inspired by Ruffino and created by internationally renowned bartender Patrick Pistolesi. He will launch it on 16 April during the GOLDEN PARTY, an invitation-only opening event featuring DJ sets by La Stryxia and Princess Scilla DJ.

In the mornings of 16, 17 and 18 April, from 10am to 11:30am, the Dazio di Ponente will host the “ORObyRUFFINO, a coffee with” events, a series of talks in which artists and designers will dialogue with a panel of interlocutors, including lecturers, curators and experts, to discuss topics relevant to the Ruffino world, such as know-how, mastery, creativity and innovation. The events will be curated by Simona Galateo.

Also on 16, 17 and 18 April, the Ruffino Icon Wines Tastings will take place at the Dazio di Ponente from 4 pm to 6 pm. During the three events, visitors will have the opportunity to taste Ruffino fine wines: Riserva Ducale Oro Chianti Classico Gran Selezione, Romitorio di Santedame Chianti Classico Gran Selezione, Greppone Mazzi Brunello di Montalcino as well as the supertuscan wines Alauda and Modus Primo.
