Produced exclusively in 2.200 magnum bottles, this limited edition of Riserva Ducale Oro represents the latest evolution of the ORObyRUFFINO project, a journey where art, design, conviviality and fine wine come together in celebration of The Art of Connection.

This second special edition is dedicated to OMNES, the artwork conceived by Millim Studio, the Rome-based design practice founded by Chiara Pellicano and Edoardo Giammarioli. Inspired by the beauty of human connection and shared experiences, OMNES transforms the bottle into an artistic object through sculptural brass elements that embrace its shape like a piece of jewellery.

Named after the Latin word for “all” or “everybody”, OMNES celebrates conviviality as a meeting point between people, ideas and cultures. Free-form shapes intertwine in a visual narrative of belonging, dialogue and collective experiences, expressing the essence of Ruffino’s philosophy.

This release marks the second chapter of a collectible project in which selected artworks from the ORObyRUFFINO collection inspire a limited-edition Riserva Ducale Oro each year.

In 1927, the inaugural Riserva Ducale vintage was crafted as a tribute to the Duke of Aosta, a renowned wine enthusiast. Two decades later, in 1947, Ruffino celebrated an exceptional harvest by introducing Riserva Ducale Oro, anticipating the concept of Gran Selezione decades before its official recognition.

The 2022 vintage reflects one of Tuscany’s warmest years on record. Despite the hot growing season, balanced day-to-night temperature variations and favourable conditions throughout September allowed Sangiovese grapes to reach optimal maturity while preserving freshness and elegance. The resulting wine is exceptionally balanced, with vibrant acidity, ripe tannins and remarkable harmony.

Aged for 36 months, Riserva Ducale Oro 2022 is a Chianti Classico Gran Selezione Docg distinguished by refined aromas, silky texture and a broad, persistent finish that expresses the extraordinary character of the vintage.

OMNES

OMNES is an artwork inspired by the idea that the most meaningful moments are those shared with others.

Its visual language is built around fluid, organic shapes that symbolize connection, dialogue and belonging. Through the interaction of artisanal techniques, materials and craftsmanship, OMNES creates a contemporary expression of conviviality, where individual identities come together to form a collective experience.

Crafted in brass with a natural satin hand-finished surface, the sculptural forms wrap around the bottle, transforming it into an object of design and creating a symbolic embrace that celebrates togetherness.
