These are the key ingredients of our responsible and mindful development, which enables us to work in the best possible way today to ensure continuity and progress for tomorrow. The notion of sustainable grape growing and winemaking is conveyed well by the International Organisation of Vine and Wine as “ A global appro- ach related to grape production and processing systems, at the same time associating the financial longevity of the wineries and territories, obtaining quality products, considering the ne- eds of precision viticulture, environ- mental risks, the health and safety of products and consumers, and safe- guarding historical, cultural, ecologi- cal and aesthetic aspects .” On this premise and based on its expe- riences to date, Ruffino has outlined plans to achieve increasingly ambi- tious goals to accomplish the next step toward responsible business manage- ment.
