Winemaking notes
The grapes are pressed very gently so as not to lose the primary aromas. Following the natural clarification of the must, fermentation takes place in steel at a low temperature. The wine is aged in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks.
The story
According to the Greek poet Homer, Venus was the daughter of Jupiter and the ocean nymph Dione. The goddess was born emerging from the sea on a large shell. Botticelli depicted The Birth of Venus in one of the most iconic works of art of the Renaissance. Completed in 1485, the painting was commissioned by the court of Lorenzo the Magnificent. Botticelli’s Venus continues to be a global icon of elegance and sensuality.
