The story
Rosso di Montepulciano is produced in the same area as Vino Nobile di Montepulciano.
Winemaking notes
The fermentation extends for 10 days in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats at 28°C with racking and punchdown. Additional skin maceration continues for about 4 more days, followed by malolactic fermentation.
Color
Bright ruby red with scarlet highlights.
Aroma
A delicate bouquet that slowly reveals itself with hints of tar and cut flowers. Fruity touches are also in attendance, followed by a finish tinged with incense.
Tasting profile
Soft tannins contrast with an acidic thrust, herbal flavors and unexpected Mediterranean breezes.
